Wilderness Program

The New Orleans Recreation Department is offering a Water Awareness Program. NORD welcomes the opportunity to provide this
service to all schools by implementing the outreach program as an added component essential to the education of the children in
the city. We are in the process of preparing two swimming facilities to provide this service.  Read More

Swimming

• Whitney Young Pool in Audubon Park and Oliver Stallings Pool in Gentilly will be open on Labor Day, September 7th from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
• Following the Labor Day schedule, Oliver Stallings Pool will close for the season.
• The Whitney Young and St. Bernard Pools will operate its normal schedule weather permitting.
