City of New Orleans hosts 4th Annual Halloween Party

Despite the rainy weather, children and families came out in costume to Palmer Park on Friday night for Mayor and Mrs. Nagin’s 4th Annual Halloween Party. In sponsorship with the New Orleans City council, the event provided safe fun for kids. There was Halloween treats in abundance, including food and drink and even a costume contest.

First Lady Seletha Nagin chairs a committee made up of Mayor’s Office and City Council employees whose goal is to provide safe and wholesome fun for children and their families throughout the year. The next event will be the Mayor’s Toy Give Away in December.
