CITY OF NEW ORLEANS TO BEGIN DEMOLITION OF KATHERINE BENSON HEALTH CLINIC
THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS WILL BEGIN THE DEMOLITION OF THE kATHERINE BENSON HEALTH CLINIC LOCATED AT 2242 NORTH CLAIBORNE ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD AT 9.15A.M.

In July of this year, FEMA officially declared the facility over 50% damaged. The building was flooded in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and has been shuttered since.

In addition to increased PW valuations, FEMA also declared 25 city facilities at least 50 percent damaged Among these declarations included: NOFD Engines #3, #22, #31, #39; NOPD District stations 5th and 7th; Templeman I & II as well as the Sanchez Center.
