Departments

HUMAN SERVICES

The Human Services Department provides social services to Orleans Parish youths and their families and provides safe and secure detention for youths, ages 8-16 years old while awaiting adjudication.

FINANCE DEPARTMENT

The Finance Department provides for the accounting of all city revenue, expenditure and pension funds.   The department also provides financial services to the citizens and businesses of Orleans Parish.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

The Equipment Maintenance is a division of the Chief Administrative Office and is responsible for fleet management and maintenance and repair services for all city motor equipment.

BUDGET OFFICE

The Budget Office is a division of the Chief Administrative Office and is responsible for the planning and development and management of the city’s operating budget.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

The Property Management Department is responsible for the maintenance and administration of all city properties, both leased and owned.

CAPITAL ADMINISTRATION

The Capital Administration Office is a division of the Chief Administrative Office and is responsible for the planning and development and management of the Capital Budget.  The office also provides oversight of all projects funded within the capital budget.
