Be a United States citizen
Be at least 17 years old but must be 18 years old prior to next election to vote
Not be under an order of imprisionment for conviction of a felony
Not be under a judgement of interdiction for mental incompetence
Reside in the state and parish in which you seek to register

Mission Statement
The Registrar of Voters Office's mission is to protect each citizen's basic civil right to vote by being complaint with Title 18 of the Louisiana Revised Statues. We endeavor to provide Professional, effective, and efficient public service in the performance of our duties, which include voter registration, absentee and early voting, preservation of Voter registration documents, update of elections data, community outreach, and other such related services.
